On her first day of preschool, the teacher made her "line leader" and BG seemed to really be proud of herself.
Sooooo, last night, BG was in the bathtub and I asked her if she'd been line leader lately. She said "no" -- said "that udder giwl wanted to be leader." So I asked if she wanted to be line leader and she said "yes." So being the helicopter mama I guess I'm turning into, I told her to politely ask the teacher if she could be line leader.
About 30 minutes later, still in the tub, BG tells me...
"Mama, tomorrow I'm gonna ask my teacher if I can be line leader... and if she says no, I'm telling her my mama told me."
Uhhhhh... wasn't exactly expecting that.
My future line leader... because "mama said."
