No pushin and no pullin!
That's what BG took as her first lesson home from pre-school. And that's exactly how she presented it to me on the ride to Subway for a kids turkey sandwich with black olives and a big cookie -- in celebration of her first day of big girl school. I cracked up and begged her to tell me WHY the teacher would say that to her. Her only response was... "that giwl was holding me mama. I didn't push!" A glimpse at my future I think.
Here's a shot of BG walking in to school on her first day -- looking innocent!
You'll notice that bunny she's carrying -- that's what she's been sleeping with. Until today when on the way to school she so shyly told me...
BG - "mama, I sure wish I had my weww-o blankie to take to school for naps."
mama - "maybe I can find you another blankie to take to school, would you like that?"
BG - "but I weawwwy weawwwy like my weww-o blankie."
mama - "what if I try to find a blankie that's the same color yellow?"
BG - (getting a little more excited) "wiw it have a Christmas tree on it too?"
mama - "uhhhhhh... I'll do my best!"
Google search to the rescue -- searching for weww-o blankie with Christmas tree for a sad little girl's preschool naps.
TA-DA!!
PS. the blankie is actually light green
