When the Saints Go Marching into Kindergarten

Happy All Saints Day! The 8th graders dressed up as Saints today for church and presented stories to the Kindergarteners.

Here's what BG took from the presentations...

Saint Mike, I mean St. Michael:

There was a big fight in heaven and he fighted in the war in Heaven. He didn't die because Jesus was watching after him and he had a sword in his pocket.

Saint Elisabeth of Hungarys:

She gave bread to the poor people and her father didn't like her sharing. Her father put her in prison but then she got out, she escaped and then she kept giving bread to the poor people.

We'll have to check with Aunt Saint Sharon for the facts. But for now, when I asked BG if they were 8th graders that dressed up, she told me "they were real angels, one was a girl and one was a boy."

Hard to believe some day she'll too be an 8th grader dressing up as her own saint!

I'm so addicted no one would ever believe how much I'm mourning being on book 4 -- sad that the saga will end and where will I be without my Edward? And yeah, for those counting would you believe all the books have 400+ pages and I've read them ALL in less than two weeks?! Uh huh, oh yeah!
